2023 Spring Gala - ‘Pop Heart'

Our 2023 Spring Gala, ‘Pop Heart,’ held on April 29, 2023, was a huge success! Thanks to your generous support, we raised over $425,000 so far for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and George Mark Children’s House.

On this memorable evening, guests stepped into the Children’s Health Guild’s very own Art Gallery with works from children at both our beneficiaries, along with countless amazing items donated by talented artists across the country.

Guests heard from the night's Helping Heart honoree, Kristina Smith, Board Secretary of Children's Hospital Branches, Inc., and a remarkable example of the generosity and compassion that makes our communities stronger and better. Thank you to our Speakers Cristina Rendon and Sean Eddy who's stories helped showcase why the mission of Children's Health Guild is so important to our community.

Our live auction drew much excitement, with a 6-night stay in Sunriver, Oregon and a 3-night stay in Yosemite, among other coveted packages. After dinner, San Francisco's premier dance band, Notorious, kept many guests dancing late into the night!
